urbi et orbi

The problem with being in China during Passion week is the lack of signs that it's Passion week! Easter bunnies and candies dominate; in fact it's so low-key that the church didn't even have a Good Friday service this year :( Thank God for cell-group and my mom (she texted me last Sunday telling me it was Palm Sunday). And thank God too for bringing me to China and not India or something, where Christians were persecuted and killed, and churches were burnt down. <-- that's a prayer request for the Christians in India.
Last year during Easter I was at Redang, diving. This year during Easter I will go to church and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
